Set up Office 365 email on Android devices – Outlook App

Top tip: If your mailbox has recently been migrated to Office 365 – please first delete your existing email account on your device before following the instructions below.

Note   Outlook for Android requires a device running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or later.

You can add multiple accounts and define account specific settings such as signatures and notification preferences from within the Outlook app settings

  1. Download the Outlook for Android app from the Google Play store if you haven't installed it yet.

    To install the app you can also use the link above, sign into your google account and select the device you wish to install the app on and click install.  The app will then be sent to your device.

  2. Open the outlook app and then, depending on your device, tap the navigation control at the bottom of your Android, or tap More (3 dots in top right of screen) > Settings > Add Account.

  3. Select Office 365


  4. Enter your Office 365 e-mail address and associated password then tap Sign in


    That's it!  In a few simple steps your account will now begin syncing to your Android device.
